Rosemary Sunsets | Rosemary Beach Town Hall

As the sun begins its slow descent, Rosemary Beach takes on a glow that feels almost timeless. The Town Hall stands quietly at the center of it all—grounded, elegant, and bathed in the soft warmth of evening light. It’s a place where day gently gives way to night, and the energy of the town settles into something calm and golden.

Rosemary Sunsets was painted to capture that fleeting moment when the sky shifts colors and everything feels hushed but alive. The layered movement in the sky reflects the rhythm of the day winding down, while the warm tones speak to the sense of community, tradition, and belonging that Rosemary Beach is known for.

This painting isn’t about architectural precision—it’s about memory. About walking through town as the light fades, conversations drifting by, and the feeling that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. It’s that pause before evening plans begin, when the air is warm, the sky is glowing, and time feels generous.

A celebration of place, light, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments along 30A.

About the 30A Collection

With 26 miles of coastline, South Walton is home to some of the world’s most breathtaking white-sand beaches and luminous turquoise waters.
Tucked into the northwest panhandle of Florida, this iconic stretch of coastline blends natural beauty with a quiet sophistication and some of the most thoughtfully designed architecture in the South.

My first drive along Scenic Highway 30A felt truly magical. I remember feeling like I couldn’t open my eyes wide enough to take it all in. It’s still hard to believe that our family now calls this place home—and that I get to be immersed in its beauty every single day.

When I paint, I do so through rose-colored glasses, focusing less on what I saw and more on how I felt. This collection is an emotional response to South Walton—a tribute to the sense of wonder, peace, and joy that so many experience here.

The series features seven iconic locations that hold a special place not only in my heart, but in the hearts of many:

  • The Pearl in Rosemary Beach

  • The entrance of Alys Beach

  • Seaside Chapel

  • The Seaside Post Office

  • Carillon Pavilion

  • Rosemary Beach Town Hall

  • And, of course, the Coleman Pavilion

Each piece captures the spirit of these beloved landmarks—moments of light, memory, and meaning layered into paint.

If you have any questions or would like to share your own connection to these places, I’d love to hear from you in the comments.
