Henderson Park Inn
Florida Beach Landscape Collection
This painting is a love letter to a place that quietly shaped my work.
I spent years at the Henderson Park Inn, and during that time it became more than just a backdrop—it became a rhythm. The decks overlooking the Gulf, the steady roll of the waves, and the sunsets that never repeated themselves all found their way into my visual memory. Those evenings, watching the light change over the water, are what planted the earliest seeds of my beach-inspired art.
This piece also comes full circle for me as a printer and designer. One of my very first print jobs was creating an architectural rendering sketch for the Henderson Park Inn apparel line—a design that is still printed and sold today. That experience marked the beginning of my journey blending art, architecture, and storytelling through imagery.
Painting the Henderson Park Inn now feels like honoring the place where it all started. It’s a reminder that sometimes the locations we pass through quietly leave the deepest marks—and that inspiration often begins long before we realize we’re collecting it.
