Warrr Eagle
Wildlife Collection
Warrr Eagle represents far more than the beauty of the eagle itself. Across many Native American traditions, the eagle has been revered as a sacred messenger—believed to carry prayers to the Creator and move between the human and spiritual worlds.
The eagle was seen as a source of strength, courage, and wisdom. Among Plains tribes, eagle feathers were worn as symbols of honor and bravery, believed to give warriors courage and clarity in times of battle. Golden feathers, in particular, were earned through acts of courage and worn with deep respect.
This painting reflects that sense of reverence and power—not aggression, but awareness. The eagle’s presence speaks to vision, perspective, and the ability to rise above while remaining deeply connected to the land below.
Some of my work often centers around endangered wildlife and protected landscapes. Painting these subjects brings a sense of peace and serves as a reminder that we are all connected—to nature, to history, and to something larger than ourselves.
And yes—being an Auburn fan, I can’t help but wonder if this deep symbolism is where the phrase “War Eagle” found its roots.
