Perched above the dunes with endless views of the Gulf, the Coleman Pavilion feels like a quiet pause between land and sea. With its open-air design and graceful symmetry, it invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and take in the rhythm of the waves below.

This piece was painted to capture the feeling of standing beneath the pavilion as light pours in from every direction—sunbeams filtering through salty air, the sound of the ocean wrapping around you, and time seeming to soften for just a moment. The radiating lines and layered movement in the sky reflect that sense of openness, peace, and gentle awe that so many associate with this special place.

For locals, the Coleman Pavilion holds memories of sunsets, celebrations, and quiet reflection. For visitors, it often marks the moment they fall in love with South Walton. This painting is my way of preserving that feeling—when everything feels aligned, illuminated, and full of possibility.

About the 30A Collection

With 26 miles of coastline, South Walton is home to some of the world’s most breathtaking white-sand beaches and luminous turquoise waters.
Tucked into the northwest panhandle of Florida, this iconic stretch of coastline blends natural beauty with a quiet sophistication and some of the most thoughtfully designed architecture in the South.

My first drive along Scenic Highway 30A felt truly magical. I remember feeling like I couldn’t open my eyes wide enough to take it all in. It’s still hard to believe that our family now calls this place home—and that I get to be immersed in its beauty every single day.

When I paint, I do so through rose-colored glasses, focusing less on what I saw and more on how I felt. This collection is an emotional response to South Walton—a tribute to the sense of wonder, peace, and joy that so many experience here.
