Tucked beneath the shade of towering oaks, the Seaside Chapel feels like a hidden sanctuary—simple, timeless, and filled with quiet grace. Its white walls and steep roof rise gently from the landscape, inviting reflection, celebration, and stillness all at once.

This painting was created to honor the feeling of peace that settles in as you approach the chapel. The layered movement of the sky and surrounding landscape reflects the emotions carried into this space—joy, hope, gratitude, and remembrance. It is a place where life’s most meaningful moments are witnessed softly, without spectacle.

For many, the Seaside Chapel holds deeply personal memories—weddings, prayers, promises, and moments of transition. Rather than capturing a literal scene, I painted the emotional atmosphere that lingers there—the sense of reverence, light, and connection that seems to stay long after the doors have closed.

A reminder that beauty doesn’t need to be grand to be powerful, and that some places hold meaning simply because of the love and intention brought into them.

About the 30A Collection

With 26 miles of coastline, South Walton is home to some of the world’s most breathtaking white-sand beaches and luminous turquoise waters.
Tucked into the northwest panhandle of Florida, this iconic stretch of coastline blends natural beauty with a quiet sophistication and some of the most thoughtfully designed architecture in the South.

My first drive along Scenic Highway 30A felt truly magical. I remember feeling like I couldn’t open my eyes wide enough to take it all in. It’s still hard to believe that our family now calls this place home—and that I get to be immersed in its beauty every single day.

When I paint, I do so through rose-colored glasses, focusing less on what I saw and more on how I felt. This collection is an emotional response to South Walton—a tribute to the sense of wonder, peace, and joy that so many experience here.
