The Washington \ San Juan Islands Collection is a body of work born from a journey—both physical and emotional. Inspired by a mother–daughter trip to the San Juan Islands of Washington for a floral immersion with Farmluxe–Mishka, this collection captures the quiet magic of place, presence, and time shared.
Created in celebration of my mother’s 70th birthday, the experience was filled with layered beauty: fields of flowers, misty horizons, textured skies, and the unspoken understanding that moments like these are both fleeting and eternal. The landscapes of the San Juans—lush, grounded, and softly untamed—became a backdrop for reflection on love, legacy, and the courage to dream.
Rather than documenting what I saw, these paintings are an interpretation of how it felt. The rhythmic skies, symbolic paths, and abundant florals speak to the inner landscape—where memory, hope, and gratitude intersect. This collection explores the idea that dreams are not distant fantasies, but invitations—meant to be answered in the present moment.
